FmingDude > Season four 2014/15 Busiest transfer window

FM
Season four 2014/15 Busiest transfer window

IN

This season I was looking to strengthen my squad.  I wasn’t looking for future stars or anything just wanted some good old players where I don’t have to break the bank.

I did sign Ashley Young, Jose Bosingwa and Michel Carrick for free because their contracts had run out which was great for this season.

Meanwhile I was looking for a striker to sign even for loan but I couldn’t afford Adaboyer or Tevez who was available for loan.

Then I looked in to possible signings after my assistant filtered unrealistic players Cornor Wickham topped in my striker shortlist and I wanted him so bad. I think Wickam was available because he was unhappy with sunderland for some reason. And I was able to get him for £10M and he turned out to be a club icon by 2018.

To strengthen my midfield my scouts recommended me Ross Barkley from Everton and I signed him out very early before other clubs make any offer for him. With Ashley Young , Michel Carrick and Ross Barkley  I had a pretty good midfield to have a go at top-half finish.

There were two players that I signed for Big money even though they were transfer listed

My rear guard maarten stekelenburg £10M

Young left back from Arsenal (He never played for them) Jamie Munday £7M and it was a huge gamble.

These are most of my notable transfers in this season.

OUT

I did let go over 10 players to reduce wage bill for new players in and over £15M in from transfer Out

I had over 30M initial budget set because I said that I’m going to take the club for top half finish.  And I spent all of those money [...]

Craig D > New Challenge … Again

New Challenge … Again

This is my New Challenge that I will hopefully stick with. Following today’s squad Announcement I decided that it would be fun to do a career with England and Blog about it. My aims for this Career are:

Give Younger Players experience at EURO 2012
Win a World Cup
Make England number 1 team in the World

These are 3 simple aims. I will use young, upcoming players at EURO 2012, to give them the experience so when it’s the World Cup 2014 I will have a better chance of winning it.

I also fired all of the Staff apart from Stuart Pearce (Under-21 Manager) and Gary Lewin (Physio)

and here is our Euro 2012 Group, as you can see we have the Hosts (Poland) the difficult challenge of France and Our Arch-Rivals Scotland in what will be a very interesting Match

My Next Post will be about the New Backroom Staff which I have appointed

Pre Season Round Up And Trofeo Federale

Hey guys im back and this 2nd post is going to be quite long in my eyes so lets get started!!!

Our pre season really didnt go to plain with only winning 1 friendly game!

But we can concentrate on other things now as we had Juvenes Dogana in the Trofeo Federale to see if I can gain my first silverware as manager of Tre Fiori but first lets look at who we drew in the Coppa Titano first round and that was Domagnano

Now lets have a look at the transfers, we bought quite alot of new faces in and only one player has left the squad

Lets have a quick look at out two main transfers:

We signed Simon Barjie because he is in The Gambia national side and at 32 years old he has experience as a player and also he showed up in a backroom meeting!

Next one was Luca Nanni a San Marino defender who has 9 caps for his country! You can look at our other transfers by looking at the screen shots earlier in the post!

Now lets get onto the Trofeo Federale where we played Juvenes Dogana and we WON the match 2-0 we have won the Trofeo Federale and incase you was wondering that’s basically the Community Shield but in San Marino!

We played against a very weak Juvenes Dogana side but as long as we won some silverware But in this blog we want to get this side to European glory which could take a very long time and i mean very long because ive done it before on another save and took 15 years in game to do so!

Anyway highlights of the Trofeo Federale game are below!

Cammell Lairds – July 2013 to June 2014

Unfortunately I have been unable to update about the pre and mid points of the season because I have have had a lot of school work to complete. Despite this, I will try to write a great breakdown of the season to compensate because I am a nice guy.

Transfers

As always, I had a good time in the transfer market. For the first ever time I received a fee for one of my players (A hefty one at that). The players who left included:

Niall Monaghan – Coventry launched a massive £40,000 bid for him, deeming him worthy. Although I was initially reluctant to let him go, I found a better player with greater potential (Ryan Lack). Since Niall’s transfer he has commanded an automatic place in the Coventry squad but hasn’t kept a single clean sheet. The transfer fee was a club record and gave our finances a healthy boost.

Greg Hartley – I tried very hard to find a buyer for Greg but no-one wanted to pay a fee. When I discovered Niall Monaghan I realised I should shift him off the wage list (£300 p/w). Port Vale came along and offered to take him off our hands. He signed a 3 Year Contract on £575 p/w and has been in good form since leaving.

David Kavanagh – David left in the January window leaving me with no-one to fill his position initially. He left for Nantwich, a team in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and is on a One Year contract worth £45 p/w. He has been in exceptional form for Nantwich achieving an average rating of 7.14.

The rest of the transfers out were:

I also brought in a number of [...]

brilcent > First half round up

First half round up

So, a couple of months have past with me coaching Nurnberg, and I have to say im having a tough time. With a good result in our first match against high fligher FC Bayern Munchen (1-0 win) the results started dropping. I have a pretty good idea of the problem, but im still with my hands in my hair wondering about the solution.

Our problem seems to be in two aspects of the game. First is goal scoring. With decent striker Ferrer in front you should think we could get some goals, all but that is true. In most matches we got more chances then the opponent, but we never really seem to finisch them.

The second problem is worse. Ill show you some screens of matches played. Pay extra attention to the goals we got against, you can see we lost a lot of matches in last 15 minutes. What to do, what to do… I have got a couple of transfers coming in soon, my next post will be about my new players. I had a fairly small budget, but think I got some quality in.

honeywell17 > End of Season – Champions – 12/13 (boro)

End of Season – Champions – 12/13 (boro)

After the shambles of last season I am proud to say we are championships, by a far margin. We played the last few games badly, but not without style. I will play around with staff in the summer as I will be allowed a lot more and hopefully I’ll get a lot more money too. My main aim is the better the defence and I want to sign David Wheater. I look forward to the premier league as we have a promising squad with potential and I’m untouchable. We did well in the awards too, but that will be discussed later.

Results

Despite the annoying loss or draw here and then, we have had quite a spectacular season really in terms of results. We won both our Newcastle derbies and claimed four points from our Sunderland derbies. We had a spell where we scored a goal in over 20 games in a row. But in the second half of the season we let our good defensive record slip. The last three kind of dimmed down my celebration of promotion, but the final game was good. At 70 minutes 2-0 down you don’t expect a comeback, shortly after we scored one, then at 94 minutes another.

Table

We became champions on the Leeds win and were promoted the game before, as you can imagine we made play-off’s before then as-well. The play-off’s were decided with two left to play. Swansea made a comeback in their second leg of the semi’s and then won the final. Sunderland tightly contested second with Southampton, but they went up. Coventry, Huddersfield and Charlton went down to League 1. I think it showed how well we did as we finished on [...]

Crewe Alexandra March 2017 – Everything Ticking The Right Way

This post will be split into 2, the news and the games. The will be in the same post but I will make sure they are separated. This saves me, and hopefully you from any confusion.

PART 1: The News

March was filled with exciting and wonderful news. Lets begin with the big one that always happens in march:

New youth players! This is always an exciting time but for us here at Crewe, with our good facilities, this is even more exciting. I was severely let down with this season’s intake. There were only 2 players to make a note of, all the others were… well, average.

Neil Brown can play both RB and RWB and has a potential of 3.5 starts. He should be decent but not amazing.

Sansal Aygun is half English and half Turkish. He plays CM and has a potential of 2.5 stars. Again, decent but not amazing. He was the only scorer for the Youth Candidates against the current U18s, as he revived the squad to comeback from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Getting a hat-trick on your trial day is a good way to get in.

Tobias Abel has been in the news recently as the Austrian prodigy got his 1st full international cap. Not only that, he bagged a hat-trick!

I watched all his goals in this World Cup Qualifier against  Serbia, and he first finished well from a through ball, then headed in a free kick. His 3rd goal was by far the best. He ran onto a long ball forward, shrugged off [...]

November 2012 Update

November 2012 Update

The league table at the start of November 2012

Next 5 fixtures

This month’s fixtures look tough! I hope to get a point from Fulham, to win against Wolves and Middlesbrough and to put up a fight against Spurs and City Leeds is currently just above the relegation zone but I hope to be higher up, like 14th by the end of the month. Tough ask seeing as some of my fixtures include big teams…

Fulham 2 – 1 Leeds League 3 Nov 2012

It was a game of two halves. I felt that Leeds did have a chance to get something from this game after Fulham’s Red card in the first half. Fulham dominated in the first half and led 1-0, Hangeland scoring with a header from a corner. In the 2nd half, Leeds were more attacking and put the defence to the test. They were very solid so Leeds had few chances. A mistake by my defenders led to a goal by Dembele. Leeds pulled one back in the 85th minute with a great through ball to Howson who put it into the bottom right corner. Ross McCormack almost got the equaliser but JUST missed the post after another great through ball. Hangeland got the man of the match award because of the unpenetrable defence. Well done! But, it’s unlucky that we lost which means that we’re just above the relegation zone. In the mean time, Leeds were drawn to play Ipswich away in the League Cup Quarter Final!! We have a chance to get to the semis!! I never expected us to get that far so I’m very pleased

Who are Tre Fiori? WELCOME!

Welcome to my new blog and in this blog im going to be managing a team from San Marino, a country not well known for football and have one of the lowest rankings in football all the way to European glory and to do this im going to be Tre Fiori who play in the Compionato Sammarinese (Premier Divison in San Marino) . They start off in the Champions League 1st qualifying round! And when I joined they had already played a match in the first leg vs Valletta and lost 2-0, so my first game in charge is the 2nd leg, only in my 2nd day in charge of Tre Fiori and hopefully I can get this off the a big bang!

Unfortunatly  we lost my first game in charge 3-1 and it was 5-1 on aggregate, the odds was right but I am here to improve a not so good team to be the best!

Also we missed a penalty :/

Anyway thats it for this post, next one will be a pre season round up of transfers! And our game in the Trofeo Federale (Community Shield)
